Anastasia Brown joins Facebook Watch’s upcoming series ‘Queen America’ and TNT’s upcoming series ‘Deadlier Than the Male’ as a music supervisor.
‘Queen America’ is a 10-episode series created, written, and executive produced by Meaghan Oppenheimer (‘Broken’). Described as a dark comedy, the half hour series stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as a ruthless, renowned pageant coach approached by a hapless young woman who hopes to become the next Miss America.
‘Deadlier Than the Male’ is a hour-long series created, written, and executive produced by Harriet Warner with Bruna Papandrea and Casey Haver. The series follows a trio of women each with a mysterious and troubling past: Lily Rabe plays a young woman who once looked into the eyes of a dangerous killer, Hamish Linklater plays a former serial predator desperately seeking redemption, and Amy Brenneman plays a grieving mother obsessed with finding her missing daughter.
